Cooking made easy
Easy recipe made of left over bread into a tasty evening snack .You can also impress and surprise your guests with this tasty snack who arrive at your home unexpectedly.
Bread slices (brown/white) – 9 slices
Rice flour – Half cup
Curd/yogurt -Half cup
Ginger cut into thin pieces- 1 tea spoon
Green chillies- three
Onion chopped – 1 table spoon
Crushed peanuts or cashew nuts – 1 table spoon
Corriander leaves (chopped) – 1 table spoon
Chopped curry leaves- 1 tea spoon
Oil to fry.
Salt to taste.
Mix together Bread slices, Rice flour and curd/yogurt . If you are using curd, make sure the curd is not very sour.
Add chopped onions. ginger, green chillies, corriander, crushed peanuts and salt.
Mix all the above ingredients into a thick dough. To make vada, make dough into small balls.
Wet the palm of your hand and flatten the dough balls , make a small hole in the middle.
Fry vadas in hot oil until it turns into golden brown. Serve hot vadas with sauce or chutney.
