Cooking made easy
An easy mango dessert to entertain your family and friends, this summer.
4 ripe mangoes peeled and diced or 5 cups diced frozen,thawed
Evaporated/condensed milk- 1 tin
Gelatine- four and half tea spoons or two sachets
1/2 cup water.
4 table spoon lemon juice
Sugar -as needed (if evaporated milk is unsweetened)
Dissolve gelatin in warm water. Place the bowl of gelatin mixture in boiling water and simmer for few minutes until the gelatin has dissolved completely. Stir the mixture until smooth.
Blend the diced mangoes and process until smooth. Whisk the mango puree, condensed milk and lemon juice. Slowly whisk in the dissolved gelatine and transfer the mixture into a bowl. Refrigerate until set for about two hours.
Garnish with cherries and pistachios and serve chilled.
